Electroplating freezers are mainly divided into two types: direct freezing type and indirect freezing type. These two types of freezers differ in structure, working principle and application scenarios.
Direct Freezing Type Plating Freezer
The working principle of the direct freezing type plating freezer is that the water from the bottom basin of the cooling tower is transported to the condenser of the chiller through the water pump for cooling, and then the water is cooled down by the fan and flows back to the bottom basin of the cooling tower. When the condenser dissipates heat, the refrigerant liquefies and flows into the evaporator for evaporation, absorbing heat in the process of evaporation, thus cooling down the sulphuric acid in the electroplating tank. The advantage of this cooling method is that the cooling effect is good, but the disadvantage is that the evaporator needs anticorrosion treatment and is easy to scale, which needs to be cleaned regularly.
