The process of electroplating zinc-nickel alloy includes the following steps:
Pre-treatment: First, the substrate is cleaned, degreased and descaled to ensure that the surface of the substrate is clean and free of pollution, which is conducive to the subsequent plating operation.
Chemical degreasing: Use alkali washing solution for alkali washing at 10~90℃ for 10~20 minutes, followed by flowing hot water washing and flowing cold water washing.
Acid cleaning: The plated parts after alkaline cleaning will be acid cleaned, the temperature of acid cleaning solution is 15~30℃, the cleaning time is 0.5~1.0 minutes, and then flow cold water washing.
Nickel base layer plating: Deposit a layer of nickel on the surface of the substrate, generally using acidic plating solution, electrolysis under acidic conditions, in order to form a uniform layer of nickel base layer. This step improves the adhesion and corrosion resistance of the zinc-nickel layer.
Zinc-nickel alloy plating: Zinc-nickel alloy plating is carried out on the deposited nickel substrate in the previous step, generally using plating solution containing zinc and nickel ions, and electrolysis is carried out under appropriate temperature, pH value and current density to form a uniform zinc-nickel alloy layer. This step improves the corrosion resistance of the base material
Post-treatment: Post-treatment is carried out on the zinc-nickel alloy layer, including steps such as washing, neutralization and drying, to remove plating solution residues and protect the plating layer
Passivation: passivation of plated parts after electroplating to improve their corrosion resistance and appearance quality
Control points of process parameters:
Temperature: usually between 10 and 35°C.
pH value: needs to be kept within the appropriate range.
Current density: usually between 1 and 6A/dm².
Plating solution composition: including the concentration of zinc and nickel ions, etc., which needs to be adjusted according to specific needs.
Equipment and materials:
Equipment: Plating tank, power supply, stirrer, temperature controller, etc.
Materials: Acid plating solution, alkaline plating solution, additives, etc.
Environmental protection measures:
As the wastewater and waste liquid generated during the zinc-nickel alloy plating process may contain heavy metal ions and other harmful substances, it is necessary to take appropriate environmental protection measures for treatment to ensure compliance with environmental requirements
