Part 01: What is BIPV?

BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaic) is a technology that integrates solar power generation (photovoltaic) products into buildings. BIPV, as a combination of the huge construction market and the photovoltaic market with great potential, will have infinite broad prospects for development, and the integration of solar photovoltaic buildings will become a new trend of solar energy application.

Part 02: BIPV solar module structure

The BIPV module comprises successively laminated lower tempered glass, lower hot melt adhesive film, battery connecting assembly, upper hot melt adhesive film and upper tempered glass. The specific packaging process is as follows:

1.Lay a lower layer of hot melt adhesive film on the clean lower layer of tempered glass. The thickness of the upper/lower tempered glass should be >5 mm, and the total thickness of the upper/lower hot melt film should be > 1.52mm.

2.Weld multiple battery pieces into a battery string with a bonding tape. After passing the inspection, the battery string is placed on the lower layer of hot melt film in accordance with a certain layout. Adjust the position of the battery string to ensure that the glass, film, battery string and other materials are placed according to the preset layout. Then, the upper layer of hot melt adhesive film and the upper layer of tempered glass are laid according to the preset layout to complete the preparation before lamination. 3.Place the laid components into a laminating machine for lamination and packaging. Determine the appropriate process parameters based on the size and thickness of the components and the characteristics of the hot melt adhesive film. The larger the component size and thickness, the higher the laminating temperature and the longer the time. After the laminated packaging is completed, the material is discharged for post-processing, and finally the finished BIPV module is completed.

Part 03: BIPV solar module laminator

In response to market demand, our company has developed a BIPV module laminating machine that can be customized according to different customer needs. According to market demand, it is mainly divided into two types: single-layer single chamber laminating machines and single-layer double chamber laminating machines.
Single chamber equipment has the characteristics of completing lamination and curing in the same chamber and occupying a small area, while dual chamber equipment has the characteristics of completing lamination and curing independently in separate chambers and achieving higher efficiency.
The heating area of the laminating machine can be customized according to customer needs.
There are two heating methods to choose from for the laminating machine: oil heating and electric heating. The oil heating method uses certified hot oil furnaces for heating, which is a traditional heating method. The electric heating method uses electric heating elements for heating, which has the advantages of fast response, low energy consumption, and environmental friendliness without pollution.
This device has multiple feeding and discharging methods to choose from, such as fixed and stacked, and can be used in any combination according to customer needs, greatly meeting the needs of different customers.

Part 04: Product superiority

1. The laminating area and chamber combination can be customized according to the needs, and the feeding/discharging methods can be selected to greatly meet the usage needs of different customers.
2. This product is a vacuum sealed equipment with no high voltage explosion risk and high safety.
3. No certification required, simple operation, flexible process flow. Multiple process plan parameters can be stored according to customer product requirements and retrieved for use when needed.
4. This product has high compatibility and is suitable for various adhesive films such as EVA, PVB, POE, SGP, etc. on the market.
5. This product has the advantage of real-time output compared to high-pressure vessel equipment, without waiting for the high-pressure vessel to complete the finished product. The volume and loading rate of the high-pressure reactor determine the time of discharge, and production efficiency is greatly affected by time.
6. The high-pressure vessel belongs to the category of high-pressure vessels that require annual inspection, have a service life, and require certification for employment. This equipment has a high degree of automation, simple operation, no need for certification, and no service life limit.
