Animal feed pellet making machine, also called animal feed pellet mill, is a kind of feed pelletizing equipment. ★ Choose the animal feed pellet machine with the rollers and die made from CrMnTi alloy steel or stainless steel which are wear resistant and has long service life.
★ Finished feed pellets made by animal feed pellet making machine should have smooth appearance, moderate hardness; breakage rate should be less than 4%; moisture content should be lower than 10%.
★ The temperature of feed pellets when they are discharged from the animal feed pellet making machine should be at 60-80℃ and not higher than 80℃, or the micro elements added to the feed ingredients in pelletizing process will be damaged and reduce the nutrient value of feed pellets.
★ Feed pellets are good for animals’ gastrointestinal digestion. In pelletizing process, starch in the feed ingredients are gelatinized and this makes feed pellets have good flavor, improves palatability and increase feed intake by 10-15% than other kinds of feed.
★ Feeding animals with feed pellets can prevent them from picking feed and thus avoid nutritional deficiencies, promote the absorption, increase the feed meat ratio and reduce the production cost.
★ Improve the digestibility of the feed. Eating feed pellets needs more time to chew which can make mouth secrete more amylase, let feed mix with saliva well and stimulate the intestinal peristalsis. Therefore it improves the digestibility of nutritious substances in the feed pellets. On the other way, under the combined effect of high temperature and high pressure in the pelletizing process, the starch of feed materials are gelatinized, proteins are organized, the enzyme activity is increased and the components of beans which prevent the digestibility of nutrients are passivated. All these factors can improve the digestibility of the feeds.
★ Prevent diseases. In the feed pelletizing process, feed materials are under the high temperature of 70-100℃ in a short time and the high temperature can kill some parasite eggs and phathogenic microorganism. Practice has proved that feeding animals with feed pellets can reduce livestock diarrhea, stomatitis and allotriophagia obviously.

Ring Die Animal Feed Pellet Making Machine
Flat die animal feed pellet making machine and ring die animal feed pellet making machine are two kinds of commonly used feed pellet machine. Here are some differences between flat die animal feed pellet mill and ring die animal feed pellet mill.
● Different shapes of die mold. Flat die animal feed pellet machine has flat die mold and ring die animal feed pellet machine has ring die.
● Flat die animal feed pellet machine is easy to operate and its processing technology is simple; the requirement for raw material is 13-15%; ring die feed pellet machine is equipped with safety protection device and overload protection device, and its processing technology is complex.
● Flat die feed pellet machine adopts vertical feeding structure and is more suitable for pelletizing materials with crude fiber; ring die feed pellet machine can only be used to pelletizing fine feed materials.
● Flat die animal feed pellet machine is suitable for home use or small farms; ring die feed pellet machine is suitable for medium and large farms or feed pellet plant.
● Flat die feed pellet machine can not only make feed pellets, but can also make wood pellets and organic fertilizer pellets. And when flat die pellet machine is used to make organic fertilizer pellets, the die mold should be changed to die mold of small compression ratio and pressure, because high temperature and heating are not necessary when making organic fertilizer pellets. Ring die pellet machine is most suitable for making feed pellets from fine materials.
